We Wish You a Merry Christmas πŸŽ„ and a Happy New Year

Christmas πŸŽ„ time is near. This can mean lots of different things for different people. I grew up in a home 🏑 where Christmas meant everything joyful and happy. Red and white. Mom would always get our red shag carpets cleaned right before our hand flocked fresh white Christmas tree πŸŽ„ would be delivered. We would get enlisted in the tree decorating business by hanging every red ball and garlands on every branch. We weren’t allowed to be done βœ… until every single bow was baring a red ornament. It did look spectacular! Then mom would order a customized ice 🧊 punch bowl for our Christmas open house. Music and sweet treats would fill the home. My sisters and I were given the assignment of greeting each guest and taking their fur coats πŸ§₯ up on mom and dad’s bed. We would secretly try on all of their fancy coats. We would wake up early on Christmas πŸŽ„ morning to our selected sofa where our stocking was placed along with our gifts 🎁 that Santa πŸŽ…πŸ» left. Typically our gifts included tennis 🎾 balls, a box of chocolates (turtles), soap 🧼 on a rope, a dress πŸ‘—, a book πŸ“– or a game or a doll. Our holiday meal was delicious prime rib, salad πŸ₯— with Catalina dressing, rolls, funeral potatoes. Mom would make Dads fudge. It’s simply yummy and buttery. I’ll leave the favorite recipe tomorrow. I’d eat so much, I’d get sick. My bedroom was decorated with my hard earned babysitting money πŸ’΅ with green and blue ornaments and trees. If you didn’t have an ideal Christmas, then make your own ideal holiday. Just do it. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season. And last but not least, buy a gold studded handbag that comes in a variety of luscious colors from udall international.com.Β
